Suppose I'm a bit late with the wishes, but it seems my schedule has been a bit mad as of late. It seems not everyone can take their drink all that well, as I'm sure everyone read in the papers and training has been occupying most of my time.

Damn shame about Headmaster Dumbledore, though I suppose he had to retire sometime. Still, Professor Slughorn was a good enough professor, I'm sure he'd be an excellent Headmaster. Can't comment too much on the new professors, as I don't know them too well, but I'm sure professor Gibbon will be missed.
Of course, none of that really affects me, but Noah's been keeping me up to date on school events.
That aside, Christmas has been enjoyable, and New year is bound to be as well. The house is full, and I quite like it that way, it makes it feel more like the holidays. Of course, we've lost one house guest, but he's welcome back anytime. Hope you everyone else is having a good one. We'll be playing on New Years Day, so make sure you keep an eye out! Go Magpies!

Three more days!
When are you ickle ones heading back? Apparently I've been talked into picking Noah up from the train station and ushering him back home. Goldie too, I imagine. Then it's Christmas Day lunch a at nan's and Boxing day with the squirts. I'm surprised Rosmerta's let me off, but I suppose with my only taking a few shifts here and there, it was easier this way.
Now, if only it would snow.

With all the weddings in the air, makes me rather glad my parents have other things to worry about. I imagine it would be so hard to pick just one girl.
On another note, the bit of snow last week does make me wish for a bit of a holiday. We're playing on Boxing Day, so there's not much hope of one, but I'll be back in Nagini for a Christmas Day. Not sure about New Years yet, but I imagine something will pop up.

Hogwarts was always good for a little excitement.

Bit bored, if I were honest. Been flicking knuts into the drinks tray for the past half hour. I'd try flicking them at the man seated at table 4, but his nose is about to dip into his pint and I want to see if he wakes up. So tempted.
Still, with amazing skills like these, the Managers are clearly blind!
For the next two minutes only Roger "Amazing" "Danger" Davies shall attempt the impossible and flick a knut clear across the Three Broomsticks landing it ion an empty pint glass that the sickle-pinching warlock left half full.
IMPORTANT Update:
The nose did indeed dip into the pint! Man has not woken up, though I would not drink that. Might wake him up to save poor man from drowning.

Looks like someone was redecorating the village last night. Didn't do a very good job of it, considering it was all reverted, but I digress. It seemed to be the sole topic of conversation at work today, though by the end of my shift everyone was far more concerned about the game. Not sure the Arrows played well, but then considering their opponents, I'm hardly surprised.
Might head down to Diagon Alley next week before the crowds hit. Granted, I have a bit more time during the week, which should save from the worst of it. Never been a fan of shopping though, it would be so much easier if everything was just in one place.

Went to my first pre-Christmas party. Precisely why it was now, when we more than a month and a half to go, I don't know, nor care all that much. Any excuse to have a bit of mulled wine. Especially when it's still nice enough to stand outside for a bit. Someone was shooting off fireworks, couldn't figure out why, but it made for some amusement.
In other news, Williams has gone and injured himself whilst dancing on a table this week, as I'm sure everyone's read by now. He's recovering, but looks like it may be a bit before he's back on a broom. Good news for me

Halloween on a Monday is always such a shame! How exactly are you supposed to properly enjoy the holiday when you have to worry about work the next day? Not that I have to worry about work the next day, but those that do, tend to cut parties short.
In case anyone was wondering, as I am sure you all were, I am going to be Ace Man* for the holiday. It shouldn't be much of a stretch, but it should make for a fun evening. Used to read all of his comics when I was little, I'm sure my mum still has that cape somewhere. It's just a shame that the new ThunderClap won't be out in time. Still, saw the new promotion, and Rice said he's looking into it.
((* For anyone who wants to know, Ace Man is a well-known wizarding superhero. He can fly without a broom, has super-wizard strength, and can do even the most difficult magic without a wand. I can go on about his made-up canon if anyone's really bored.))

I was bloody brilliant! I mean I'm always bloody brilliant, but I was exceptional Monday! It was all over the papers too, I don't think there's ever been a more elegant execution of the manoeuvre in ages. The trainer was quite impressed, and I can’t say I blame him. It wasn’t wholly my work, McKay and Robertson were instrumental, but that’s why we’re such a brilliant team, when I’m allowed
Read the new reviews of the ThunderClap, and it looks brilliant. It’s rumoured to be able to handles speeds of up to 175, and if the stats are correct it’ll surely put the Firebolt series to shame. It’s not set to come out until the new year, but I can hope we’ll get a bit of a peak before it’s released.
